2006 Charity Event Schedule

We Wish To Announce our Schedule for the 2006 season.

2006 will be our 11th Summer with the American Cancer Society.  We're sure no one at the American Cancer Society will recognize this, even though we've outlasted everyone at the American Cancer Society.

This year we're returning to Lapeer and adding the Frankenmuth event.  We've dropped Lake Orion and Anchor Bay events in favor these two events.  Also, Flint has decided they no longer need our services for their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Flint in October, entirely because they did not inform us of a date change for the 3005 event until it was too late.

Relay for Life

DATE EVENT LOCATION START TIME
May 20 Novi / Northville Ford Field 10:00 AM
*June 10 Lapeer Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds 10:00 AM
June 17 Clarkston Clarkston Middle School 10:00 AM
July 22 Frankenmuth Harvey Kern Pavilion 10:00 AM
July 29 Midland Midland County Fairgrounds 10:00 AM
September 23 South Washtenaw Wilson Park 9:00 AM

*The Lapeer event decided, only after our schedule was complete and posted, that they did not need us for this event because they said they couldn't provide a few basic items that every other event we've ever done has been able to provide.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Please note that, while the Relay for Life events are all 24-hours in duration, our portion of the event is always from the opening of the event until 8:00 PM.  As much as we'd like to participate in the entire 24-hours, it would be physically impossible with the amount of energy and work that we put into our segment.

If you are in the area and have the time, we encourage you to come out to one of our events and say "HI".  It's a chance to meet some great people, raise some money to help fight Cancer, and to meet The Jim & Lance Show in person.
