On Saturday, August 31, 2002, The Jim & Lance Show began more-or-less regular live Internet webcasts, via the Live365 Internet Radio network.  The webcast took place from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

Since then we've added two more streaming options for our listeners.  More information on streaming options can be found below.

The webcasts originate from Jim's in-home studio with plenty of music, fun, discussion, and even a special email address so that listeners can make requests, comments, and suggestions for topics of conversation.

Be a part of it as The Jim & Lance Show begin their transition to a new medium.  With this step forward our legions (?) of fans will no longer have to wait months to have fun with us.  We'll be playing music from the 50's through the 00's (?) as well as comedy and lots of alternate mixes, many exclusive to The Jim & Lance Show.

Our Webcasts are available for broadband users only!

The Studio

This is a shot of the studio where we do the webcast.  Actually more a shot of the equipments it takes.  Lance sits at the computer at the left where he uses Raduga to play all the digital files, be it music, music video or sound bytes  He also monitors email from the same PC.  The mixing board on the right is where Jim is stationed.  From there he controls the outgoing mix and runs the stack of equipment that is pictured below.  It's amazing the amount of equipment needed to provide audio to the world over the internet.

The equipment used in the in-home studio includes:

bulletBehringer DX1000 professional mixer
bulletBehringer Tube Ultragain Microphone Pre-Amp
bulletBehringer Virtualizer Pro
bulletBST Cleving 156 Professional CD Decks (2)
bulletSony CDP-315 CD Player
bulletJVC DD-VR7 Studio Quality Cassette Deck
bulletPioneer TX-930 Digital Tuner
bulletGemini PS-727 Mixer
bulletNumark TK1600 MKII Turntable
bulletMaxwel MXL990 Boom microphone
bulletAKG D8000S model microphones (2)
bulletMP3 Computer (used for digital media files and email)
bulletDell Latitude CPx (used for monitoring the webcast)
bulletMain PC (used for streaming the webcast)
bulletBelkin SurgeMaster power distribution panel
