Another sunny start to a great Relay for Life at South Washtenaw.

These two could not stay with the crowd .. they had to come closer for a better look.

Oh, here is who they were interested in ..the first speakers of the day.

This event boasts the MOST SURVIVORS of any Michigan Relay for Life.

Lance does his customary wave hello at the camera.

Jim in his customary "cool guy" pose. Hey, he is very cool.

Let's get to the balloon launch.

Each balloon represents a cancer survivor.

Up they go .. some got caught on the electrical line.

Oh, wait .. they made it .. WHEW!

More balloons  ...

.. and even more balloons .. enough already :-)

A very nice quilt that was made for the event.

The Saline Fun Band came out again and brought all their fun with them.

I think collectively, these people have been musicians longer than Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones combined.

On his 90th birthday .. ringing the dinner bell. Time to turn around!

Lance interviews the novogenerian (is that a word).

Very cute kids always steal a photo or two.

Milan Parks & Rec had a nice banner this year.

The dance of the Willy Wonka guest appearance.

More Willy Wonka fun. (Did you see the movie?)

This dance troupe did a nice job with the big finale !

Willy Wonka !

"Drop and give me twenty."

"You heard me, I will PT all of you" .. uhh .. yeah. We forgot what we were here for.

Although, it does look like physical training ..

.. don't you think?

The Karate Kids were back again this year. The music was not as angry .. some of it was great.

Milan martial artists put on a good show. Their master had hurt himself the night before, but still showed up and worked out.

Here, one of the leaders discusses the next demonstration with the young martial artists.

Fiddler's Restrung

We love it when they show up. This is the second time we have seen them and it was better the second time.

Fiddler's Restrung having a great time on the stage.

Fiddler's Restrung have great sound.

Clogging is a normal activity for kids from the south eastern United States.  These two were just awesome to watch.

Probably the happiest person we have EVER worked with. This man NEVER has a frown on his face.

There were many performers and we tried to get everyone's picture.

We mean everyone's picture.

Since this was our 50th Relay for Life, we were honored to be presented with a plaque and flowers.

Larry David can sing.

He is also a doctor. We bet House cannot sing.

Last group dance of the year !

All the standards were played...

These girls were having a great time!

The last dance has to include The Hokey Pokey ..

.. some more Hokey Pokey ..

.. and of course ..

.. The Bird Dance (Chicken Dance .. whatever)

We had a great time this year doing these dances and

all of these Relays. We really look forward to seeing all of you.

Next year! See you soon.
