The three photos on this row are from the opening ceremony of the Novi / Northville 2003 Event.  More or less a panoramic view from the stage.

This year the event moved from the parking lot it had previously taken place on to Ford Field in Northville.  A much nicer location!

The weather for the our first event for the year was BEAUTIFUL.

The Singing of the National Anthem.  Beyond the singer is a little river and a wedding chapel.

Jim & Lance standing behind the equipment table.  This was our 30th event.

A view from the stage of some of the campsites

A photo to show that families do, indeed, make up an important part of the Relay for Life.

Another photo of the campsites.  Beyond the campsites are a baseball diamond.

Just for Kicks Line Dancing with Jean Rowe.  They performed last year as well.

Just for Kicks teaches line dancing to some of the attendees....

...While a group of people looks on.

Father/Daughter magician team of Mark & Maya Menlo.

The Tony Flow Band entertains guests in the early afternoon.  There was another band that also performed later in the event.

The crowd enjoying the music of the aforementioned Tony Flow Band.

Mark & Maya did this trick and we were AMAZED.  We we right next to them and couldn't figure out how it was done.

Center Stage Dance Studio does a dancing exhibition in the late afternoon.

The Center Stage group was very entertaining and precise.

About 5 members of the Piazza Dance Studio do a dance exhibition also.

After two numbers, the Piazza Dance Studio members volunteer to lead the crowd in our first group dance number...

...and if it's not that obvious from the picture, it was the Macarena.  The girl in the white Novi Varsity PomPon shirt is our friend Sizzle from last year's event.

The Jim & Lance Show Group Dance is always a blast and often sports vast numbers of people.
