Our second Making Strides event took place on Saturday, October 11,
2003. The
Jim & Lance
Show was asked to return this year
by our good friends at the American Cancer Society. This year the event
raised over $260,000 and had a total of over 5,000 walkers!

Jim and Lance arrive very early (5:30) for Making
Strides in Flint, MI. This is our second year at this fantastic,
intense event.
As day breaks the crowd size increases. You can't
however, miss the obnoxiously parked Cars 108 van.
We started a new tradition .. The early version of the
Jim and Lance Show group dance segment.
Many people could not believe that they were doing the
"Cha-Cha Slide" so early in the morning.
They danced and got warmed up. They listened to speakers
from the stage as well.
What better place to launch hundreds of pink balloons!

This event had over 5000 walkers from what we were told.
You should think about coming to downtown Flint in the fall, second
weekend of October.
