The 49th event begins. We watch the people go around the track again.

.. and again they go around the track. Do you know any of these people in the picture?

Old Glory flies again. It took a little while to get the flag raised, but there it is!

The weather for this event was much better than last year. Here we see more happy walkers.

There were supposed to be a number of theme laps at this event. The survivor lap is a always an important lap.

These people are all walking around the track happily singing, "J-I-M A-N-D L-A-NC-E". Jim and Lance, Jim and Lance ..

There is a lot of people in this shot. We really do not remember why. If you know , leave a message on the boards.

Everybody loves a parade. One of the laps we had that day was the parade of teams. We have tried different ideas for these laps,

The reason we may not to the Lake Orion event next year on the left, our good friend Jennifer on the right.

Up, Up and Away in our...

...beautiful, our beautiful purple-and-white balloons...

Mr. Ecklesdafer, I presume?

"There they are, these are the racers, they have boxes for cars. They have boxes and their going to be racing after someone."

"They have their boxes and they're looking quite alive. There even faster than the powerful Mach 5"

More views from the stage. It sounds like a nice title for a book. Maybe a coffee table book.

"And when the odds are against them and there's Relay work to do .."

One of the most interesting activities that day was to blow yourself up like a balloon and fight someone else until a "ring out".

"Booooo yah !"

You do not have to be at a mall anymore to have large amount of quarter candy anymore. Hmm.. remember when it was nickel candy?

This looks like fun. You just need the right girl or guy to pose with you.

Life was a "beach" that day. Heh-heh.

Well, there is the marquee. I guess the theatre was lost in the tornado that threatened this site last year.

"The most technologically advanced, world-famous, yet totally unknown.. Jim and Lance Show DJ Team of the World!

Our new friends are Crazy Al and his friend Larry on the Crazy Al's Radio Party. Information can be found here.

"When I grow up, I want to be just like her!"

Some of these campsites we are featuring here, were really put together well.

Mmmm... Smoothies !

A nice shot of the equipment on the stage at the Lake Orion Event.

"I really love this job, I was born to be a DJ. I cannot wait until the 50th event. I am so excited"

Long distance shot at the campsite where the bull was setup later. These people screamed the loudest that day.

Another shot of the same campsite. These people rated a lot of pictures because of their enthusiasm.

Some of the Jim and Lance Show dancers that day.

Here is a shot of a little fan club that formed out in front of the stage.

These people were making sure that their feet would not get wet if we had another rain like last year. The puddles were deep.

More of the same group.

Hip-Hop Lance. "Yo, check me out at our 50th event.."

The 49th group dance event begins..

Dances featured "The Cha-Cha Slide"

The Hustle
