TWO Single Guys in their early thirties, each having been
previously married and taken through the ringer repeatedly, meet by chance while
working for the same DJ company... Call it fate...call it luck...call it
karma...but that fateful meeting would have an end result that would inevitably
be known as:
...and so it began sometime back in 1992, when on our first
meeting we DJ'ed a wedding reception in Lapeer, Michigan. That night we had the
dance floor packed, with up to 200 people dancing at one time. It was nothing
short of phenomenal and the crowd left with a sense of awe and wonderment.
"Who were those guys?"
"Where are they from?"
"They must spend a lot of time practicing to produce a
show like that."
"I wonder which one is Jim and which one is Lance."
"I wonder if they are available."
"What a couple really cute guys!"
"Can I get your phone number?"
...that's the way it all started. On our first show we left
them totally amazed. From that point forward whenever we worked together we
moved crowds and provided some of the best musical entertainment you can find
for the money (?).
Since then we have gone on to do innumerable charity events,
wedding receptions, other functions. With a vast (over 21,000) song
library, we have the ability to cover almost every request imaginable. We
both started DJ'ing when we were 18 years old, so we bring to each event
over 40 years (collectively) of DJ experience.
From the very beginning we've had a natural way of
communicating and working with a crowd, entertaining and motivating them to
dance and have a great time. We try to make each event special and a
success, working with not only the crowd at hand, but with the
host/manager/bride & groom/planner in advance so that we'll have any special
event or music planned and on-hand for the event.
We currently, as you can see by the many pages dedicated to
it, perform for many Relay for Life events throughout Southeastern
Michigan. For more information related to these events, use any of the
Relay links above and to the left.
